Hello and welcome, portalwithin.
My understanding is that we are here to learn valuable lessons. To see if we are capable of learning and understanding them so as to ascend to higher realms of existence. It also is something we can mould to our own design, meaning we can create our own realities and not ones that are dictated to us. It all up to us. We either play the rubbish hand we are all dealt, or we can throw that hand in a change it for a new one. Change our paradigm rather that fight the existing one.

I wish I could focus on the positive, Yoda, I really do. But knowing as I am typing this there are literally thousands and thousands of children being abused in horrendous ways most can't even imagine...my souls cries out in anguish! Until every child is safe, I will continue to fight and spread the word. They need an advocate! They need someone to say what is happening to them. God it breaks my heart.

The challenges each soul participates in is part of their learning of their lessons. Even to consider the heinous ordeals many endure. It is not the be all and end all for that soul. It gains experience and has a larger opportunity to 'level up' after the poor existence it sustained. It is all a game. We still need to provide empathy for them as it is part of our challenge, but what we have to remember is not to be consumed by it through negative thoughts.
