Memory, at the surface level, is full of thoughts of this present birth.


The deeper level of this memory (known as the subconscious state) contains very strong thoughts retained over the past several births. This sub-conscious state contains very few thoughts. But the few thoughts that are present are as strong as diamonds. This subconscious state decides the real behaviour of the soul.


Memory at the surface level contains many thoughts, but no conscious-level thought is as strong as a subconscious one.


The state of consciousness (surface level) may receive a certain point from an enlightened spiritual preacher. However, if an opposite point is present in the subconscious state, practice/action takes place only as per the subconscious thought.


These strong diamonds in the subconscious state are called as samskaras or vaasanas.


If the samskara is congenial to the preaching received, the preaching is immediately implemented into practice.


Suppose the samskara is opposite and even then you still desire to implement the received preaching, what then do you do? Well, you have to strengthen the received concept by constant memorization. Eventually, your samskara will get defeated by the reinforced preaching present in your surface-conscious level.


Receiving the concept from the preacher is called as ‘Shravana’ (hearing), continuous memorization of the concept is known as ‘Manana’ (constant recollection) and finally, the concept becoming a samskara by accumulating strength is referred to as ‘Nididhyaasa’ (solidification of the concept expressed as a firm decision).


These three stages are discussed one after the other in the Veda (shrotavyo, mantavyo, nididhyaasitavyah).

The Reality of it Still Stands as Such as Shravana and Can be Concluded as a Platform to Alter One's Course of Action in the Constant Repetition of one's Mantra "Set in Stone". But Whereas Modern Affirmations Lack, they are Done with Words without a Risha (Poetic Trutfulness in Those Concepts) that Simply is a Raw Mechanism without Grease to Lube the Gear. Thus becoming of Robust Mechanism and No Longer a True Nature but an Artificial. Shravana According to the Veda Might Speak of the Proper Course of Which i Yet Have to Got to Read on it; But From the Conclusion of the Mind; the Reality of Affirmations in the Modern Standard are a Semi-Platform for Which the True Essence of Affirmation Concluded as such as Possibly the Shravana Can Come to a Degree of Preference That Can Benefit a Personage in the Sum of their Course of Action.

Our our paths are set in stone for our journey in life. As we can take any direction alter any outcome because we always still get to our end point regardless of the latter. Because we have been given free will our destination is predetermined, however our paths can be altered to still give an experience other than the original intended. As this is part of our experience to be able to learn of the possibility of changing the path but not the experience and the intended destination. For the physical world we experience life in, our perceptions are manipulated and given the idea we have choices and freedom. But we do live in a 3D world which is the toughest yet the shortest experience to endure.
